On higher hp applications the factory top mount intercooler is overworked and susceptible to overheating. Loss in power is a direct result of the raised intake temperature. The COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler features an massively oversized 30″ x 10.35″ x 3.5″ Bar and Plate style Intercooler Core w/ 2.5″ piping. The much improved performance of this intercooler keeps intake temperature as cool as possible, giving you more power.
Intercooler Core available in Silver or Black Finish.
The piping is mandrel bent aluminum and finished in wrinkle black powder coat. The cold side piping includes an integrated bung for an Intake Air Temperature sensor which makes for a straight-forward Speed Density conversion.
COBB XLE BPV “ByPassValve” and BPV adapter plate are included. The BPV adapter plate will allow installation of the factory bypass valve, COBB XLE BPV, or any valve that has factory-like fitment.
Includes COBB Coolant Overflow tank and Washer Fluid filler neck.
