Invidia just released the much anticipated Dual N1 for the 2008+ WRX / STi Sedan. This features 76mm piping with 101mm muffler tips that are available in both polished or burnt titanium. The N1 is constructed with SUS304 stainless steel, CNC-machined flanges, and completed with a high polished finish. Mandrel-bent piping offers maximum exhaust flow and reduced back-pressure. The N1 Exhaust is engineered to produce strong mid to top-end power gains, as well as an increase in horsepower and torque.

In 2012 we took our show on the road for the first time since 2005, and hit some great events up across the Midwest and East coast. Traveling gave us a chance to connect with many of our long time loyal customers and support some grass root shows that keep our scene alive. We also welcomed the addition of Dan Slavin, Alex Skatkov, and Jason Willis to our team. Each is a true automotive enthusiast that we are very proud to have as a part of the AutoCity family.

As we go into 2013 we have many goals to work more efficiently and better cater to our customers, but the one we’re most excited to share is our involvement within the Subaru community. We have completely overhauled our Subaru Parts section, have added over 2,000 new Subaru specific parts, and are a new supporting vendor on MISubie.com, WRXforums.com & NASIOC. We are very much looking forward to doing our part to help support these communities and also have some plans to offer parts and services that will be exclusive to AutoCity customers. – stay tuned!

Ichiba spacers offer a simple way to stance out your OE or aftermarket wheels. The 2010 Subaru WRX you see featured on this blog post is our Subaru rep, Alex Skatkov. Alex recently installed a set of the “Version 2″ spacers with basic hand tools so we could showcase the simplicity behind the installation.

As you can see the Ichiba Version 2 wheel spacer has lengthened wheel studs built directly into the spacer along with an empty bolt pattern for your original studs to fit into. Clean off your hub build up with a scrub pad, slide the spacer directly on your hub, torque down with the included nuts, and put your wheel back on. Installation literally take only minutes.

Alex chose to go with the 17mm in the front and 20mm in the rear but we have many sizes available ranging from 5mm to 38mm. Perfect for spraying badges, wheels, etc. If you decide to change the look of your Plasti Dipped items, cured Plasti Dip Blaze will peel off easily from most surfaces. It leaves the material underneath in its original, pre-Dipped condition.

APPLICATION TIPS
For the brightest possible colors, it’s best to apply Plasti Dip Blaze over a white base, preferably white Plasti Dip for optimum adhesion.

Due to their unique composition, fluorescent pigments like the ones used in Plasti Dip Blaze tend to fade faster than other colors. Plasti Dip International has taken preventative measures, including the addition of a UV protector to the formula, to help our Blaze colors stay brighter longer, but some fading is inevitable. However, in most instances, quick touch ups as needed should be sufficient to keep Blaze colors bright.

Ichiba has earned a spot as one of the most recognizable names in scene for hub centric wheel spacers. They boast one of the largest selections for the sport compact scene and have recently added many new sizes not available with other wheel spacer manufacturers. The new additions include the 12, 17, 22, 27, 32, & 38mm sizes to the line up.

Ichiba Wheel Spacers (Version 1)
The Ichiba Version 1 is a hub centric wheel spacer that includes longer studs that you need to replace your oem studs with. This means that when doing the install you will need to remove your oem studs and have the longer Ichiha studs pressed in place. The sizes for version I include 5, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 20mm.

The Ichiba Version 2 is a hub centric wheel spacer that has lengthened wheel studs built directly into the spacer so installation is made very simple. Slide the spacer with built in studs directly onto your hub and tighten down with the included nuts and your done. Install on the Version 2 literally take only minutes. The sizes for version 2 include 15, 17, 20, 22, 25, 27, 30, 32, 35, and 38mm.

We’ve been focused on expanding our Subaru parts selection over the past few months and are excited to now have the Hella Supertones added to our inventory line up. Supertones are a universal part but are hugely popular in the Subaru market and synonymous with Rally inspired vehicles.

This Hella Supertone Horn Kit uses a combination of low tone (measuring 300Hz) and high tone (measuring 500Hz) disk-type horns to project a powerful 118dB sound. Hella includes the two 12V Supertone horns, built in mounting brackets, a relay, and wiring instructions.

Earlier this week Turbosmart announced their brand new Internal Wastegate Actuator (part #TS-0605-1072) for the VF48 & VF52 turbos. The VF52 Turbo is found in the 09-12 WRX & the VF48 Turbo is found in the 08-12 STi.

The Internal Wastegate Actuator provides better turbo response and greater sensitivity when managing boost pressures. Each IWG is adjustable with several spring options and packaged in a kit form so they can be fitted as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory part. The kit features a silicone diaphragm with Nomex reinforcement to withstand high temperatures and stainless steel rods and connecting clevis for corrosion resistance. Also the actuator has a locking collar design cap allows for quick spring changes. The spring range is 3 to 26 psi.
