AWD, Manual trans, & some proper tires = seriously fun winter ride (at least for those of us in the snow states). Subaru fits the bill for a killer winter car but most of us here and a lot of our customers use their show / track Subaru in winter as well. With a few mods here and there it’s pretty simple to get winter ready. Besides the tires, here’s a list of our top winter mods for all you Subaru owners!!

Light Bars : Shorter days = longer nights and light bars are a great way to get better visibility. We feature Hella 500 series lights with all of our light bars and have options for “driving pattern lamps” as well as “fog pattern lamps” …. not a bad way to keep your bumper during winter as well. Diode Dynamics : This line focuses on high quality LED lighting to replace your stock incandescent bulbs to provide better visibility. If there’s a light on your car odds are Diode has an LED upgrade available for it… (interior dome, map, trunk LEDs… exterior turn, plate, reverse LED’s… and a lot more) Better visibility is great for longer winter nights. Lift Kits : When snow hits hard, nothing better than a little ground clearance… and proper tires of course. Subtle Solutions has some great simple lift options. Full lift kits, rear saggy butt spacers, & nose dive spacers all available.
Wheel Spacers – Having summer wheel & tire setup as well as a winter setup is fairly common. Generally winter setups tend to use OE wheel … Spacers are a nice option to close up wheel gap that you’re not used to running with.
